From the moment Rayce and Kayla started dating, I’ve had the joy of capturing their love through my lens year after year. They’re not only two of my childhood best friends - they’re also some of my favorite people to photograph. Watching their family grow and documenting each chapter has been one of the biggest honors of my career.

Rayce’s family ranch will always have a special place in my heart. It’s where we celebrated birthdays and holidays back in high school and college, where Rayce got down on one knee, and where they said “I do!” It’s also where I (nervously but proudly) gave my Maid of Honor speech. Every time I’m back, it feels like a breath of fresh air - peaceful, nostalgic, and full of the best memories. Cheers to many more 'Ranchy’s!'

Engagement Photoshoot

in San Diego, CA


I had the best time flying out to San Diego to photograph my cousin, Jared, and his beautiful wife, Clare. In college, I’ve taken Jared’s graduation photos from Texas A&M University (whoop!), and now it was time to capture his next big milestone.

We split the photoshoot into two days. The first day took place in Balboa Park, which is known for its gorgeous gardens, museums, and architecture. It was my first time there, and I was absolutely stunned by its beauty. Of course, it started to rain, but we embraced it and turned it into a magical moment straight out of The Notebook. The next day, we walked the shore of Torrey Pines State Beach, hiked up its breathtaking cliffs, and watched the Pacific coast sunset. I'm already looking forward to the next time I visit! You stay classy, San Diego.

Surprise Proposal

at Flora in Houston, TX

I used to live just down the Bayou from Flora, but I never realized how stunning this area truly is. So when Caitlyn’s best friend reached out to me about capturing their surprise proposal, I was all in!

When I arrived, I was probably just as nervous as Derek. But as soon as Caitlyn walked down the steps and saw him standing there, surrounded by white rose petals, everything fell into place. My nerves melted away as I started snapping photos of their intimate moment.

After the proposal, I captured a mix of candid and posed shots, wrapping up with sweet photos of her family who were in on the secret and watching from the sidelines. It was such a beautiful and heartfelt moment, and I feel so lucky to have been part of it!
